Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We know life (and babies) don’t always follow the calendar. This policy explains how we handle changes so every family gets the time and care they booked.

Your Retainer
A non-refundable retainer of [50%] is due at booking to reserve your date. It holds your session time, which we turn away other families to keep, and it covers the planning that goes into your session.

Rescheduling

  • With [7] or more days’ notice, you may reschedule once at no charge. Your retainer transfers to the new date, which must be within [6 months] of the original.

  • With less than [7] days’ notice, a [$100] rescheduling fee applies.

  • With less than [48] hours’ notice, or if you don’t show, your retainer is forfeited and a new booking is required.

Cancellations
If you cancel, your retainer is non-refundable. Any payment beyond the retainer will be refunded if you cancel with [14] or more days’ notice.

Illness & Emergencies
If someone in your family is sick, please let us know as soon as possible. We’ll work with you to reschedule without a fee. We’d rather move your session than have anyone uncomfortable in front of the camera, or risk our staff getting sick.

Newborn Sessions
Babies arrive on their own schedule. Newborn sessions are booked around your due date, and we’ll adjust once your little one arrives. Just message us within [3] days of birth.

Weather (Outdoor Sessions)
If weather isn’t cooperating, we’ll make the call together and reschedule at no charge.

Mini Sessions & Holiday Portrait Sessions
Because mini sessions are limited, they’re non-refundable and can’t be rescheduled. If you can’t make your time, you’re welcome to transfer your spot to another family.

Hair & Makeup
If you’ve booked hair and makeup, late cancellations are subject to the artist’s own cancellation policy, and any fees are your responsibility.

If We Need to Reschedule
In the rare case we need to move your session due to illness or emergency, we’ll find a new date that works for you. If none does, we’ll refund everything you’ve paid.
