Your Senior Experience Guide
Welcome, I’m Nicolette
Thank you for trusting me with this special season. My goal is to create an effortless, beautifully styled experience from start to finish. This guide will help you feel confident, prepared, and excited for your session.
Preparing for your Senior Session
Senior portraits are all about celebrating this milestone in a way that feels authentic to you. Whether you prefer something classic and timeless or a little more relaxed and personal, your session is fully guided to create images that feel confident, natural, and true to who you are.
Here’s how to prepare.
What to Bring
To make sure we capture a variety of looks, please bring:
• Your cap & gown
• Any school accessories (stole, cords, medals, honor pins, etc.)
• A clean, wrinkle-free outfit worn under your gown
• Dress shoes or heels that complement your look
For collections that include an outfit change, you’re welcome to bring a second look.
Optional Outfit Change
If your session includes time for a second outfit, we recommend something casual and personal.
Great options include:
• Jeans and a school t-shirt or sweatshirt
• A simple, neutral outfit
• Something that reflects your personality or interests
This adds a more relaxed, lifestyle feel to your gallery and gives you a nice mix of images.
What to Wear (under the gown)
What you wear under your gown will still be visible in many images, so it’s important to keep it clean and polished.
For Girls
• A simple dress or top that lays smoothly
• Neutral or soft tones photograph beautifully
• Avoid bulky straps or anything that bunches under the gown
For Guys
• A collared shirt or simple neutral top
• Keep it fitted and wrinkle-free
• Avoid loud patterns or logos
Hair & Makeup
We recommend keeping your look polished and natural.
• Style your hair in a way that feels like you
• Keep makeup soft and camera-ready
• Avoid trying anything brand new right before your session
The goal is to look like your best, most confident self.
